About The Position

Peirone Produce is hiring Warehouse Order Selectors for evening shifts. Selectors operate a pallet jack or forklift to select, label, and palletize products for customer orders. The role requires working efficiently and safely while meeting standards for accuracy, product stacking, and pallet condition. Work areas may vary in temperature and humidity according to local weather conditions and the assigned area. Warehouse employees are required to join the Teamsters Union, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. This is a drug-free workplace, and a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to reach, lift, and stack cases weighing up to 60 pounds from floor to overhead repeatedly during a shift.
• Able to walk and guide a pallet jack from slot to slot during order selection.
• Must join the Teamsters Union.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pallet jack or forklift to select, label, and palletize products for customer orders.
• Follow company safety guidelines and work safely.
• Label selected products and apply a header label to completed pallets for shipment.
• Maintain standards for order accuracy, stacking, and pallet condition.
• Stack products to prevent damage during selection, loading, or delivery.
• Train to operate an electric pallet jack safely.
• Walk and guide the pallet jack from slot to slot during order selection.
• Work productively and work overtime, holidays, or weekends if needed.
