Seasonal Warehouse Order Picker
About The Position
Join The Hillman Team for a Summer Seasonal Warehouse Opening! This role involves picking and packing customer orders in a high-volume zone picking station, while maintaining established productivity and accuracy standards. The assignment is seasonal and will end on 8/28/2026. Shift hours are from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime when required. Employees are expected to participate in safety and health program activities, including reporting hazards and wearing required personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to use a hand-held RF scanner.
Nice To Haves
- Related experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Uses a hand scanner to determine order requirements
- Pulls the correct product from the stock area and packs it into the appropriate boxes
- Meets required daily productivity standards for lines picked per hour
- Ensure that work meets quality standards
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to the manager
- Maintains a current knowledge of operating procedures and company products
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
