About The Position

G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food, storing and delivering over 4,000 food items to customers across 27 states and 35 countries. As a rapidly expanding organization, G&C Foods is seeking individuals who thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments for their Selector position. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment within the warehouse.

Requirements

Able to read, write, and communicate effectively relating to the job and the safety regulations.
Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills.
Understand product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
Strong communication skills, motivation, and energy.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred.
Experience in operation of Powered Industrial Equipment, including Riding Pallet Jack.

Responsibilities

Operate a double pallet jack.
Use a handheld scanner to scan products out of inventory.
Consistently lift cases up to 80 lbs.
