About The Position

The manufacturing plant in Taunton, MA is seeking a Warehouse Order Cutter to join their team. This role involves preparing and cutting cables according to customer orders, ensuring quality, and assisting with shipping preparations. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
Some manufacturing experience or proven/demonstrated mechanical ability.
Must complete on job training (OJT) for specific job classification as required in a timely manner.
Must be able to use pneumatic tools, such as air nail guns and hand drills.
Must be able to train for forklift licensed or certification.
Must be able to work independently according to verbal and written instructions.
Must learn basic computer transactions and inputs; must have ability to become certified SAP User.
Must have basic math and communication skills.
Must develop and maintain proficiency in required job skills.
Must be capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally lifting or moving 75 lbs.
Must be able to distinguish different colors

Responsibilities

Remove material from stock working from order cut schedules and written instructions.
Spooling and cutting finished cables to length per customer needs.
Visually inspect cable for damages and/or short lengths advising supervision of any deficiency.
Aide in the packaging and lagging of reels in preparation for shipping.
At times will be required to aid in loading truck or be a spotter during loading.
Perform preventive maintenance procedures, 6S activities and participate in continuous improvement events.
Maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition.
Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems.
Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
Work overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.

$2,500 Stay Bonus ($1,250 after 6 months; $1,250 after 1 year)
$175 Yearly Boot Allowance
Performance-Based Hourly Pay
Shift Premiums: $1.50/hr. (2nd shift); $2.25/hr. (3rd shift) $2.00/hr. (4th Shift AM); $3.0/hr. (4th Shift PM)
