About The Position

As a Warehouse Operator, you will operate powered equipment to move, locate, stack, and count products in the warehouse, supporting customers with custom packaging solutions. The role includes fulfilling and documenting orders, moving and recording inventory, maintaining equipment, helping with other warehouse tasks, and keeping the work area clean. The job is performed in a state-of-the-art climate-controlled facility, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Noise levels are usually moderate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training as a warehouse operator, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient reading and writing skills and the ability to follow directions.
• Frequently stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
• Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
• Lift, slide, and/or move up to 100 pounds of material from pallet to pallet and lift up to 20 pounds 72 inches from the floor.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Fill customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Prepare proper shipping documents.
• Move inventory materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Maintain warehouse equipment.
• Assist with secondary warehouse duties, including receiving, put away, shipping, and assembly.
• Keep the warehouse area clean, including sweeping floors and picking up loose materials.
• Perform other duties as requested.
