About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is a frontline member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s warehousing team within its WinField United business, which supplies agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to member-owners and other partners. The role supports successful delivery of final products by coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, selecting and preparing orders, and keeping warehouse areas organized. The operator uses a forklift daily and operates other plant machinery and equipment as needed.

The position requires a day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekends and overtime as needed. Work may involve cold or hot temperature zones for extended periods and areas where dust or chemicals are present. The employee must wear personal protective equipment and be able to perform active physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds. Successful forklift certification is required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
• Successful forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work in cold and/or hot temperature zones for extended periods, potentially in areas where dust and chemicals are present.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift, which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of warehousing work experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safe practices by self and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Process work orders by selecting the correct products from racks, palletizing and shrink-wrapping them, and staging orders for delivery.
• Multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Pack and load final products using a forklift.
• Assist with cycle counts.
• Operate a forklift daily and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
