Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferably in shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment
  • Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse
  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment
  • Receive materials into SAP by verifying packing-slip quantities against purchase order requirements and ensuring accurate system entry.
  • Move received items into designated inventory locations and maintain orderly, well-organized storage areas.
  • Provide backup support to shipping operations as needed to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Evaluate inventory space, reorganize stock, and make location adjustments to maximize storage efficiency.
  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage and document issues before signing carrier receiving paperwork.
  • Pull required items from inventory to fulfill Pick, Pull, and Ship orders with accuracy and completeness.
  • Package outbound items using appropriate cartons, protective materials, and company packaging standards.
  • Weigh shipments and apply correct freight charges using approved carrier or freight-rating software.
  • Generate packing slips, verify order details, and affix all required documentation to each package.
  • Coordinate daily pickup times with transportation carriers and ensure shipments are ready for handoff.
