About The Position

This role involves organizing and managing warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation, and shipments according to SPS principles. The operator will apply strict warehouse working instructions and fixed operating procedures, and comply with health, safety, and environment rules. Responsibilities include identifying and expressing risks to the Team Leader, applying escalation processes for deviations, and performing self-controls to detect non-conformities. The role also involves operating appropriately to hazards, applying defined procedures for MPH, and using computer resources to track store entries and exits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a warehouse inventory environment
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Prior use of powered industrial trucks such as Genie lift, PIT equipment
  • Experience with barcode scanning systems
  • Windows based computer knowledge
  • Prior SAP experience
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle.
  • Apply strict warehouse working instructions and fixed operating procedures.
  • Comply with the health, safety and environment rules throughout the sector.
  • Identify and express to the Team Leader any risks regarding health, safety, quality and environment, including reporting all incidents and near misses.
  • Apply escalation process in case of any deviation (safety, environment, quality, performance).
  • Know the recommended gestures to perform the standard operating modes. Suggest proposals to improve the operating mode.
  • Link various operations according to a predetermined process: receiving, warehousing, inventory management, store outlets, line procurement.
  • Perform self-controls provided in order to detect non-conformities.
  • Operate appropriately to hazards.
  • Apply the procedures defined for the MPH.
  • Use computer resources available to save the entries and exits of the store.
