About The Position

Darigold is hiring an entry-level Warehouse Operator at its Bozeman Plant. The position covers several different roles rather than one specific job, and employees are cross-trained to provide flexibility and develop a broader understanding of plant operations. The plant operates bottling equipment and associated boxing, casing, and palletizing equipment. The role is covered by a union contract; the selected applicant must join the union and pay dues.

Work includes production and packaging support, equipment operation, and cleaning. Cleaning involves working with water and chemicals. The position requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, and occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds. Employees must report food safety or quality issues. Most employees currently work four 10-hour shifts; night and weekend schedules are possible and described as very likely. Employees must be able to work days or nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience with pallet jacks and/or forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• A proven work history demonstrating safe, efficient, and dependable work.
• Ability to work night or day shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous production experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across several different jobs to support flexibility and understand overall operations.
• Perform cleaning duties involving water and chemicals.
• Use motorized pallet jacks when required.
• Operate the Box Former as needed.
• Pull packaging for production.
• Perform work on foot, including walking, bending, and twisting as needed for tasks.
• Lift items weighing up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Report food safety or quality issues.
