About The Position

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Operator to move, gather, distribute, and prepare products and materials in a warehouse. The role works the second shift, from 3:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Operators use forklifts, clamp trucks, or other powered equipment to move, stack, and stage products and materials. Requirements

• High school education or GED equivalency.
• Minimum 3 to 6 months of experience and/or training in a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience operating a forklift is required.
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to learn proper operation of warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or distribute.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of products are loaded.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock, stage orders, and/or convey orders to a packing station or shipping department according to an order-handling or customer pick sheet.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment.
