Warehouse Operator Specialist
About The Position
DSV is a global transport and logistics company that has evolved to become the world's 3rd largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics. They add value to their customers' entire supply chain by transporting, storing, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and clearing all types of goods. This role is responsible for shipment scheduling, dispatching, planning, tracking, and tracing. The individual will coordinate freight claims, provide rate quotes and analysis, monitor carrier quality standards, and provide customer service. The position requires the ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Generally prefer 3-6 years of experience
- Good interpersonal skills required
Responsibilities
- Create scheduling and shipment planning
- Interface with Transportation organization and analysts
- Prepare rate proposals for customers
- Determine most appropriate carriers based on company policy
- Ascertain delivery requirements based on company policy
Benefits
- Base Rate: $24.00/hr.
- Weekend Premium (Fri., Sat. & Sun.) +$1.50/hr
