Requirements

  • Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Experience in operating a high-reach, stand-up forklift
  • Must display a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a team-based, feedback friendly, environment
  • Display high attention to detail, organization, and a process-driven mindset
  • Must be knowledgeable and abide by all company safety policies and procedures
  • Previous work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
  • Must be able to work in a production environment that involves lifting boxes and product up to 40 pounds.
  • Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity

  • Downloading inbound shipments

  • Downloading receiving related paperwork
  • Communicating with corporate regarding schedule planning and inbound receiving issues

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that product is shipped out of the distribution center in a timely and effective manner
  • Stack pallets appropriately (straight, heavy at bottom, labels out)
  • Lift product and place on pallets
  • Use material handling equipment, once trained, to safely remove product from SULB lanes to ship prep station, staging area, or onto outgoing truck
  • Process, wrap, and label pallets at ship prep station
  • Move items to correct location if product is sent down wrong chute or is unable to read by scanner
  • Understand process at UPS labeling area (load loose items, continuous flow, special orders, and single cartons)
