About The Position

Medline Canada is seeking a Warehouse Operator I with a focus on Receiving. This role is responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is a contract role until October 16th. Requirements

• Focus on Receiving.
• Reports to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ability to receive shipments and sign paperwork.
• Ability to inspect contents for damage.
• Responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
• Ability to verify packages against orders and invoices.
• Ability to document shipping errors and damaged goods.
• Ability to enter incoming goods into a computer system.
• Willingness to complete training requirements.
• Understanding and adherence to Health Canada regulations on medical devices and drugs.
• Ability to conduct physical inventory counts.
• Ability to act as backup for Equipment Receiving.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Understanding and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to report injuries or unsafe acts.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc).
• Document shipping errors and damaged goods.
• Enter incoming goods into the computer system.
• Complete training requirements and follow guidelines/procedures to comply with Health Canada regulations on medical devices and drugs as outlined on the Quality Management System.
• Conduct physical count for inventory.
• Act as back up for Equipment Receiving as required.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure a safe work environment by understanding and following safety procedures and reporting injuries or unsafe acts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
