About The Position

Coors Distributing Company (CDC) is a leading beer and beverage distributor in Denver, CO, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Molson Coors Beverage Company. As the only company-owned distributor, CDC is a critical link between beverage suppliers and retail outlets, restaurants, and bars. It is one of the largest single-site distributors in the country, employing 470 individuals and representing 35 suppliers. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be physically capable of handling/lifting up to 30 pounds as many as 2500 times per shift.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 165 pounds periodically.
  • Must be able to write, read, and speak the English language.
  • Must be capable of passing Coors Distributing Company's certification for warehouse equipment (forklift and/or walkie-rider).
  • Must be flexible with shift and hours, which can change based on company demands, especially during summer months.
  • Candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check as part of the recruitment process.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the timely and correct replenishment of product into the system.
  • Loading and/or unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring the correct product and date code is pulled.
  • Delivery truck check-in, confirming accuracy of product returned post-delivery.
  • Receiving and unloading product to be placed into inventory, from Over-The-Road or local trucks.
  • Shipping out distributor orders, dunnage (empties), pallets, etc., ensuring proper paperwork.
  • Forklift operation to load pallets of product into identified locations for replenishment.
  • Manually moving cases of beer into the system towers for loading.
  • Checking completed pallets of product for accuracy and adding any additional cases as required (hand stacking).
  • Overseeing system flow to ensure product accuracy and correcting any jams or errors prior to palletizing.
  • Manually loading carts off of the system.
  • Picking and loading kegs for delivery to the loading bays.
  • Moving CDC and brewery trucks into and out of docks for efficient loading and unloading (Truck Jockey).
  • Assisting in developing repack operations, including ordering materials and ensuring repackaged product meets brewery quality standards.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment.
  • Applying safe work standards in all tasks, adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations, and Coors Distributing Company Policies and Procedures.
