The role includes picking and packing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position requires strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds in a fast paced setting. Job Description Responsibilities: Pick and pack order in an accurate and efficient manner Strong attention to detail and accuracy Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, when required Coordinates activities surrounding the warehouse operations Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions Organize stock and maintain inventories Maintain safety compliance when operating material handling equipment Report on any unsafe work conditions that may occur Maintain a clean and safe working environment Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations Perform other duties as assigned This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 LBS
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Required to operate material handling equipment
  • Minimum 1 year of recent distribution or warehouse experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working at heights while using machinery, when required
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using RF scanner or manual picking preferred but not required
  • Licensed with any one of the following forklifts: Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker, or Dock Stocker (Reach experience preferred) is a strong asset
  • SAP background preferred but not required
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer applications
