About The Position

The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for various warehouse duties on the 2nd shift, including stocking and delivering goods to the production floor. This role involves receiving, unpacking, checking, and stocking materials, as well as recording inventory changes. The operator will also be responsible for picking, wrapping, and packing orders, addressing and labeling packages, computing freight rates, and sorting and organizing items. Accurate and efficient order fulfillment, including printing, picking, packing, data entry, and manifesting, is crucial to ensure accurate invoicing for customers. The position requires a sense of urgency while adhering to safety guidelines.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in a Warehouse setting
Experience safely and diligently operating a Forklift and Stock Picker
Basic Computer skills
Microsoft Office skills
SAP skills
Ability to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

Receiving, unpacking, checking and stocking materials
Recording items taken from inventory and documenting when completed
Picking orders and wrapping or packing orders in shipping containers
Addressing and labeling packages
Computing freight rates, while recording the weight and cost of each shipment
Sorting, organizing, and marking items with identifying labels
Reviewing and fulfilling customer orders quickly and accurately against pick tickets
Printing, picking, packing, data entering and manifesting
Ensuring accurate order and invoicing for customer
Assuring accurate, efficient, cost-effective completion of customer orders with a sense of urgency
