About The Position

Power Drives, Inc. is a Buffalo‑based manufacturer specializing in custom‑engineered hose, tube, and fluid conveyance systems for a wide range of industrial and mobile equipment applications. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and performing various warehouse functions as determined by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Computer knowledge and familiarity with office equipment
  • Strong hands-on skills / mechanical aptitude
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic mathematical and reasoning skills
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Pick products for shipping ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation
  • Accurate picking and tracking of components for processing orders in Manufacturing
  • Move materials to and from different areas of the production floor, warehouse, and storage locations as needed
  • Ensure that all materials are delivered to production lines in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and production delays
  • Prepare orders for shipments, labeling, palletizing, and stretch wrapping pallets
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of products against the purchase orders or delivery notes
  • Load, Unload, unpack, and inspect products for damage, defects or discrepancies, reporting any findings to their supervisor
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring stock rotation and minimizing shrinkage
  • Sort, label, and store products in their designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and efficient space utilization
  • Replenish stock from reserve to primary locations, including lineside inventory
  • Accurately enter stock transfers and receiving of product
  • Operate warehouse equipment (including Fork Lifts) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve products
  • Work in various departments of the warehouse as determined by workflow
  • Conduct warehouse maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, organizing, and repairing equipment as needed
  • Training other team members as assigned
  • Support quality initiatives and procedures as defined by our customers and suppliers
  • Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to stand throughout entire shift
  • Other duties as assigned
