About The Position

The Warehouse Operations role is a key contributor to the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials in our distribution environment. As part of a small, close-knit team reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position executes core activities including inbound receipt, inventory management, picking and packing, outbound handling, and kitting. The role supports on-time customer delivery, high inventory accuracy, and ongoing improvement in warehouse performance. The Warehouse Operations teammate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, works effectively across functions, and follows through on tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with core warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, kitting, shipping, and inventory control
  • Ability to use a computer to process orders, manage email, and perform basic data entry
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with a warehouse management system
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license and operate material handling equipment as needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and support effective resolutions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, balancing multiple priorities and responding to last-minute requests
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and manual labor
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality, with a track record of supporting warehouse performance goals
  • Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for overtime or schedule adjustments as business needs require

Nice To Haves

  • Additional coursework in supply chain, logistics, or a related area is a plus
  • Exposure to SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping while meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Process orders and transactions accurately in the warehouse management system and related applications to support inventory accuracy
  • Prepare, stage, and verify shipments to meet customer delivery requirements, including correct documentation, labeling, and packaging
  • Support cycle counts and inventory control; investigate discrepancies and assist with corrective actions
  • Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts and, where applicable, forklifts) safely and in line with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to handle last-minute requests and shifting priorities while maintaining customer focus
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements
  • Communicate effectively to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and support cross-functional operations
