About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple warehouse functions and leading daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, safety, and exceptional customer service. This position provides leadership for shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities while supporting operational goals across distribution, surplus, repair, and small-parts divisions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage people and processes, and is committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse operation.

Requirements

  • Prior warehouse supervisory or leadership experience required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Forklift certification as required

  • Warehouse, logistics, inventory, or distribution experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise warehouse personnel across shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment operations
  • Ensure warehouse inventory is stored, organized, and maintained efficiently
  • Oversee daily staffing levels and scheduling to meet operational demands
  • Manage workloads and priorities to ensure timely completion of all warehouse activities
  • Monitor labor utilization and overtime to ensure efficient resource management
  • Drive departmental performance and achievement of operational goals and budgets
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and storage areas
  • Ensure accurate and timely receiving, stocking, and processing of incoming inventory
  • Oversee order fulfillment activities for Distribution, FNFP, Surplus, Small Parts, and Repair divisions
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, staging, and shipment of customer orders
  • Monitor and improve inventory accuracy through reconciliation, auditing, and cycle count processes
  • Investigate and resolve inventory, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain warehouse best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Operations, Production, Inventory, and Customer Service teams to support business objectives
  • Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies
  • Conduct ongoing safety training and employee awareness initiatives
  • Identify and address workplace hazards proactively
  • Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and personal protective equipment
