About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Oversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals. Schedule for the position is Tuesday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Highly competitive wages starting at $75,000/year! Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. Provides measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements. Conducts interviews, hiring and training as necessary. Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates. Assists with process improvement initiatives. Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards. Ensure excellent customer service and communication Receiving: Check in product completely and accurately Stock products correctly Loading: Pick product for daily deliveries along with special deliveries Load trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safety Returns: Inspect and physically count returned merchandise Restock inventory in appropriate place Outbound freight of vender returns Paperwork for all warranty product Unloading of customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehouses Operate power equipment, including fork-lift May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed Cultivate U.S. Venture’s values while inspiring, empowering, recognizing, and guiding team members Live our values of High Performance, Caring Relationships, Strategic Foresight, and Entrepreneurial Spirit Find A Better Way by championing continuous improvement and quality control efforts to identify opportunities to innovate and improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization Continuously learn and develop self professionally Support corporate efforts for safety, government compliance, and all other company policies & procedures Perform other related duties as required and assigned Physical Demands and Work Environment: Physical demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Protective equipment required : steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt , SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots. Work environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience
  • Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
  • Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
  • Good memory and scanning abilities
  • Good communication and math skills
  • Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis
  • Able to learn to use a forklift
  • May require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policy
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
