About The Position

Perform the activities of the warehouse and internal supply chain to assist in the manufacturing and assembly of various products per established facility processes, including receiving, part put-a-way, part picking, part issue, receiving inspection, and shipping, to support production operations. Apply skilled trades such as inventory management, machine operation, mil spec packaging, and the operation of other various material handling equipment and tools. Contribute new knowledge to programs and projects. Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and specific technical aspects of the job to complete varied and complex work. Make recommendations for new procedures. Work independently within established procedures and practices, lead tasks, and informally mentor others.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
  • Experience with shipping and receiving practices
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices
  • Knowledge of inventory transactions inside computer-based systems, including SAP and Oracle
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including a forklift
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
  • Ability to operate computers and warehouse management computer software
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
