This role involves administering and operating the organization's warehouses, including processing, destruction, and storage of all physical assets. The specialist will be responsible for accounting for all assets in storage facilities, auditing received goods, and overseeing the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of assets, along with related reporting. Additionally, the role includes preparing and coordinating shipping and receiving schedules to manage the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space, and ensuring the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and the maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations
• Knowledge of processing, destruction, and storage of physical assets
• Ability to account for all assets in storage facilities
• Skills in auditing goods received
• Experience overseeing receipt, storage, moves, and shipment of assets
• Proficiency in preparing and coordinating shipping and receiving schedules
• Ability to ensure effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance/protection of facilities and equipment

Responsibilities

• Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, destruction, and storage of all physical assets.
• Accounts for all assets in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.
• Oversees receipt, storage, moves and shipment of assets, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
