About The Position

Royal Apparel is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and improve operations across two warehouse locations. The facilities support fabric and raw materials storage, finished goods inventory, and customer shipments. The role coordinates both warehouse operations, supports and cross-trains existing warehouse managers, provides backup coverage, improves inventory accuracy, and ensures efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate is a practical, organized operations leader who spends significant time on the warehouse floor and leads by example.

Requirements

5–8 years of warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations experience.
Previous experience supervising warehouse employees or leading warehouse operations.
Strong inventory management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, or inventory software.
Ability and willingness to work hands-on on the warehouse floor.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead experienced employees.

Apparel, textile, garment manufacturing, or distribution experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily operations across both warehouse locations.
Learn the responsibilities of both existing warehouse managers and provide coverage when either is unavailable.
Coordinate receiving, storage, inventory control, inter-warehouse transfers, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Improve inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, space utilization, and operating efficiency.
Establish consistent procedures and accountability across both facilities.
Work directly with warehouse employees and managers to resolve operational issues.
Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and report results to ownership.
Maintain safe, organized, and productive warehouse environments.
