About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire Warehouse production process. The Warehouse Operations Manager will supervise and coordinate the efforts of the warehouse personnel. This role involves actively engaging in the selection, training, development, and leadership of the team, acting as a working manager who leads by example. The manager will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and delegate responsibilities to ensure daily goals and objectives are met, while also assisting in the creation and execution of the company vision. They must consistently demonstrate positive leadership characteristics to inspire employees to meet and exceed operational metrics. Key duties include ensuring events are loaded completely and sent out on schedule, tracking and maintaining warehouse assets, ensuring proper staffing and task completion, overseeing timelines for setup, production, and breakdown, and adjusting product picking schedules based on team performance and overtime needs. The role also involves proposing and implementing new methods to improve efficiency and accuracy, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, providing timely status updates, proactively raising issues, and enforcing company policies such as uniform, break monitoring, and cell phone usage. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management or hospitality management. Equivalent work experience in the industry is acceptable.
  • 2+ years in warehouse, operations, maintenance, customer service, quality assurance experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in the selection, training, development, and leadership of the team.
  • Step in as a working manager, leading by example.
  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and delegate responsibility to ensure goals and objectives are met daily.
  • Assist in the ongoing creation and execution of the company vision.
  • Consistently demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire employees to meet and exceed metrics set by operational leadership team.
  • Ensure that all events are loaded completely and sent out as scheduled as well as all warehouse assets are properly tracked and maintained.
  • Ensure proper staffing and daily tasks are completed.
  • Oversee timelines for set up, production and breakdown.
  • Adjust product picking schedule based upon team’s picking speed, and overtime needed to complete scheduled work.
  • Propose and implement new methods to improve the efficiency of accurate information and execution, as well as ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely status of work completion and proactively raise issues before they escalate.
  • Enforce all company policies within the employee handbook. Proper uniform, monitor breaks and personal cell phone usage, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
