About The Position

The Fremont Company, a food manufacturer since 1905, is seeking a Warehouse Operations & Inventory Coordinator for its Fremont, OH facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operation, including the main facility and multiple offsite storage locations. The coordinator will manage inbound and outbound shipments, inspect freight, schedule and manage carriers, maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and reconciliations, and handle all associated paperwork. This is a hands-on role that also involves leading and directing a team of two warehouse members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse operations experience.
• At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of BOLs, freight invoicing, and inventory documentation.
• Proven experience scheduling and managing LTL/FTL carriers.
• Proficiency with WMS or inventory software.
• Solid skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to identify discrepancies.
• Forklift certified or willingness to obtain certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multi-location inventory.
• ERP/WMS background.
• Experience in food manufacturing/distribution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
• Inspect incoming freight and document any damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Schedule and manage LTL, FTL, and dedicated carriers for daily pickups and deliveries.
• Build and maintain carrier relationships and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain clean and current inventory records across the main facility and offsite locations.
• Conduct cycle counts, reconciliations, and product transfers with proper documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, overages, and shortages.
• Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs), process invoices, and manage all supporting paperwork.
• Lead and direct two warehouse team members, setting standards and tone.
