About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Operations Intern to join their team from June through August. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn departmental processes and procedures within a high-demand distribution facility. Interns will develop leadership skills, learn to prioritize and delegate workload, understand team dynamics, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. The role is approximately 12 weeks long and offers a pay rate of $20.00/hr plus a $1.50/hr shift differential. Opportunities for full-time employment may be offered post-season. This position is not benefits eligible.

Requirements

College Junior or Senior working toward management, logistics, supply chain, or a similar degree program.
A keen eye for identifying process or system errors with a drive to improve those processes.
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership experience – highly preferred.

Responsibilities
