We are immediately hiring a 2nd shift Office Supervisor in Hagerstown, MD for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary Pay: $70,000 Schedule: Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM EST to 10:00 PM EST. Employee will be required to work additional hours and days as needed to support business needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in business, logistics or related field
  • Three (3) years or more clerical supervisory experience and site level Human Resources experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrates analytical skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the onsite point of contact for Human Resources matters at the location as well as supports the financial month-end process and oversees the daily activities of the office and support staff including purchasing, payroll, accounts payable, event coordination and vendor management.
  • Oversees daily administrative and operational support functions within the warehouse environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes.
  • Pulls and analyzes operational data.
  • Responds promptly to internal and external emails.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for customer-facing calls with a focus on professionalism and issue resolution.
  • Exports and manages documentation.
  • Coordinates and processes shipping paperwork from initiation through completion.
  • Maintains accurate records throughout the workflow.
  • Ensures adherence to CPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) standards.
  • Supports full compliance with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) regulations, contributing to a secure, compliant, and efficient warehouse operation.
  • Accurately processes HR entry transactions including leave of absence administration and responding to unemployment claims and payroll.
  • Prepares accurate month-end financial closing reports, maintains A/P and A/R throughout the month, processes journal entries.
  • Provides direction and manages performance of direct reports.
  • Interprets policies and makes recommendations on routine HR matters and ensures compliance with all legal and corporate guidelines.
  • Investigates employee relations matters and provides recommendations for resolution.
  • Coordinates and executes new hire onboarding, warehouse recruiting and develops effective working relationships with contingent labor providers to ensure required staffing levels are met.
  • Manages purchasing of materials, supplies and equipment for the location.
  • Plans, coordinates and executes employee events.
  • Manages relationship with onsite security provider and other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
