About The Position

The Warehouse Night position selects customer orders from warehouse stock using selection labels that display product slot numbers, item codes, and descriptions through the SAE-Scanning System. The selector scans the slot location, travels to it using a mid-rider (electric pallet jack), identifies the product, attaches the label to the case, and places the product on a pallet in delivery-stop sequence. Orders are shrink-wrapped and transported to the designated outbound dock door for loading. The work includes selecting orders in the freezer area and in all temperature zones, operating material-handling equipment, and meeting the standard of 200 cases per hour by the end of the 90-day probationary period.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Clean driving record.
• Material-handling equipment experience required.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Must be able to meet the 200-cases-per-hour selection standard by the end of the 90-day probationary period.
• Must be able to walk extensively and stand for long periods, usually 8–10 hours.
• Must be able to bend at the waist, stoop to reach slot locations, and squat to lift heavy items properly.
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet, and legs.
• Must be able to read slot numbers and product descriptions.
• Must pass a drug screen and physical exam.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the SAE-Scanning System or similar systems is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
