About The Position

The Warehouse Night position selects customer orders in the warehouse. Using selection labels containing product slot numbers, item codes, and descriptions with the SAE scanning system, the selector scans the slot location, travels to it using a mid-rider (electric pallet jack), identifies the product, labels the case, and arranges selected products on a pallet in delivery-stop sequence. The selector shrink-wraps the pallet and takes it to the designated outbound dock door for loading. The role includes order selection in the freezer and other temperature zones, operating material-handling equipment, repetitive lifting, and meeting the standard of 200 cases per hour by the end of the 90-day probationary period. Ben E. Keith describes its work environment as collaborative and results-driven and highlights investment in employees, growth opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive workforce.
