About The Position

Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in receiving, inventory, customer service, and/or order processing. Performs daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and put-away activities in accordance with company standards. Operates RF (Radio Frequency) scanners and TWL system to accurately process orders, inventory movements, and shipments. Ensures all orders are picked and packed accurately to meet customer requirements and service level expectations. Loads and unloads shipments, verifies quantities, and inspects products for damage or discrepancies. Supports shipping operations (dock activities) including staging, palletizing, and confirming shipments. Maintains inventory accuracy through proper bin usage, scanning, and participation in cycle counts. Follows established SOPs, safety procedures, and compliance requirements, including proper equipment use. Meets and maintains productivity and quality metrics (e.g., pick rate, accuracy, on-time shipping). Assists with replenishment and stock organization to support efficient picking operations. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse. Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational issues or delays. Supports cross-functional activities (receiving, returns, special orders) as required.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Ability to safely lift 50–70 lbs and perform continuous physical tasks (walking, bending, lifting).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
  • Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Experience using warehouse systems (e.g., TWL, RF scanners, or similar WMS systems).
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including dock operations.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including overtime when required.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse setting.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system.
  • Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise.
  • Prepares packages/merchandise for storage.
  • Records receiving data using computer.
  • Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment.
  • Identifies incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notifies supervisor.
  • Delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated area.
  • Verifies computations against physical count of stock.
  • Examines and inspects stock items for wear and defects.
  • Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
  • Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
  • May perform order layout and make changes to carriers or picking method.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
