About The Position

As a Warehouse Merchandise Process Coordinator at a Best Buy distribution center, you will train Merchandise Processors and Recycling Processors. Training includes onboarding new hires and providing routine training to existing employees. You will also carry out day-to-day warehouse tasks, help maintain standard operating procedures, and support safe and effective operations.

The role includes overseeing training plans, identifying learning gaps, evaluating training effectiveness, and giving employees instruction and feedback. You will contribute to daily operations by leading start-up meetings, performing warehouse functions, and providing guidance to resolve operational questions.

Requirements

• Able to pass all applicable certification and driving requirements to become licensed to operate equipment.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of leadership and distribution experience.
• Six months of training experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive training plans, including hands-on instruction for new hires and upskilling for existing employees.
• Identify training gaps and collaborate with leaders to develop and implement solutions.
• Track and evaluate training effectiveness, providing in-the-moment instruction and feedback to reinforce learning and support continuous improvement.
• Inspect warehouse operations and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to daily operations by leading start-up meetings, executing warehouse functions, and modeling safe operational practices.
• Resolve operational questions in a timely manner and provide workflow guidance as needed.
