Spectra Precision is hiring Warehouse Associates for 2nd shift (3:15 PM – 11:45 PM) at our Vandalia, Ohio facility. Starts at $20.90/hr. Position Overview The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, and shipped. This role is critical to efficient order fulfillment, operational reliability, and on-time customer delivery. Shift Schedule: • 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM • Consistent M-F weekday hours • Ideal for candidates seeking evenings instead of early mornings

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with warehouse practices, methods, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems, databases, or inventory software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Valid forklift license or ability to obtain certification within designated timeframe.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean or 5S practices for warehouse organization and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of ERP or advanced warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming stock, including unloading, inspection, and documentation
  • Store materials in designated locations, maintaining organization and accessibility
  • Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare customer orders according to shipping schedules
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform inventory controls, cycle counts, and audits to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
