About The Position
Strategic Workforce Development is hiring on behalf of Allied OneSource for multiple warehouse and material handling openings across the Kansas City metro. Apply once here and you will be considered for every role you qualify for. The roles include Material Handler, Mechanical Assembler / Warehouse Associate, Warehouse Associate, Kitter. These positions are located in various sites across Kansas and Missouri. Most roles require reliable personal transportation, passing a background check and drug screen, and being open to overtime. Work environments are non-climate-controlled.
Requirements
- Reliable personal transportation (public transit does not qualify)
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be open to overtime
- Forklift experience required for Material Handler roles (Fairfax, KS)
- Previous manufacturing experience required for Mechanical Assembler / Warehouse Associate (Lenexa, KS)
- 1+ year of stand-up forklift experience for Material Handler (Liberty, MO)
- 6+ months of pick, pack and kitting experience required for Kitter (Liberty, MO)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs for Mechanical Assembler / Warehouse Associate (Lenexa, KS)
- Heavy lifting of 40 lbs throughout the entire shift for Warehouse Associate (Belton, MO)
Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts (testing required for some roles)
- Lifting up to 50+ lbs
- Picking, packing, and kitting
- Assembling mechanical components
- Working in various warehouse environments, including cold environments and caves
- Performing material handling tasks
