About The Position
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for picking products, handling, scanning, storing and reporting any quality, damages or overage and shortages to supervisor. This role operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent interaction with warehouse team members and supervisors. It requires physical movement including standing, walking, lifting, and material handling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience with basic computer systems and scan guns.
- Comfortable operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication.
- Team-oriented and dependable.
- Physically able to handle freight.
Responsibilities
- Pick products and prepare for distribution.
- Handle, scan, and store products accurately.
- Report overages, shortages, and damages to the supervisor.
- Audit inventory as requested.
- Ensure accurate placement of scanned inventory.
