About The Position

Trimble is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to support its global fulfillment network. The role is responsible for order accuracy, inventory scanning and packaging outgoing technology items so shipments reach clients accurately and on time. The position is based in the office in Dayton, Ohio, and works a first shift Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. The listed pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a hiring range of $17.21–$21.54 per hour. Travel requirement is 0%.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• One year of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or shipping and receiving.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to read written instructions, count accurately, and compare data.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend, and to lift 20–30 pounds constantly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating handheld inventory scanners and entering data into shipping software.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders against detailed pick lists and scan items into the inventory management system.
• Package outgoing technology items with containers and fillers, reinforcing packages to help ensure safe transport.
• Manage computer shipping databases and generate accurate carrier labels.
• Stage completed orders for delivery.
• Work with team members to transport staged inventory and assist with loading trucks.
