About The Position

As a Warehouse Material Handler at Graybar, you will work with a team to move products through the warehouse and help ensure they reach customers. Duties include unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and storing inventory, selecting and packing customer orders, and occasionally delivering orders in a light van or delivery vehicle. Requirements

• Able to meet the physical requirements of a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 70 pounds, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying active in varying temperatures depending on location.
• Able to safely operate warehouse equipment and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• Able to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Unload deliveries and accurately receive inventory.
• Store products in designated locations and record their locations in the system.
• Select and pack customer orders.
• At times, deliver customer orders in a light van or delivery vehicle.
• Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
