About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler manually loads trucks with products for delivery to customers. The role involves lifting, lowering, and carrying products in a fast-paced warehouse, stacking empty pallets, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace. The associate is expected to follow safe work practices and support the company’s safety culture while contributing to Staples Supply Chain’s customer deliveries. Work is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of related warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment or merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Basic verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Ability to become MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment as required.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.
• Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and work safely.
• Inclusive approach to colleagues and customers, with the ability to foster collaboration and resolve issues.
