About The Position
As a Material Handler II on the Picking Team, you will support operations by safely moving materials and finished goods throughout the facility using various types of powered industrial equipment. You will ensure efficient product flow and accurate inventory handling. This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, with an hourly pay of $20.00 plus a shift differential.
Requirements
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment (Cherry Picker and Stand Up Reach Truck)
- Proficiency with hand scanners for inventory tracking and transaction completion
- Ability to accurately pick and transfer products
- Experience operating manual and motorized pallet jacks
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of powered industrial equipment (Cherry Picker and Stand Up Reach Truck) in a safe and efficient manner
- Utilize hand scanners to track inventory and complete transactions
- Pick and transfer products accurately to designated boxes and pick locations
- Move finished goods to appropriate staging or storage areas
- Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks as needed
- Use judgment and experience to resolve routine operational issues; escalate more complex problems to management
