About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. This role is for a Warehouse Material Handler on the 2nd shift. The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am or until work is completed, with potential for schedule changes and overtime based on business needs. Walk-in interviews are available Monday - Thursday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the West Branch, IA warehouse; completing an online application prior to arrival is recommended.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
• 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana).
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles like forklifts or picker equipment.
• Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
• Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, utilizing team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
• Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
• Be able to work on feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
• Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist other departments such as e-commerce, inventory, and will call as needed.
• Perform other job-related tasks and follow instructions from supervisors as assigned, subject to reasonable accommodations.
