About The Position

Andy J. Egan Co. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler / CDL Driver to support warehouse operations and deliver materials to jobsites throughout Michigan and the Midwest, with occasional travel beyond the region. This hands-on role combines material handling, warehouse support, commercial driving, equipment operation, and facility maintenance. The position helps ensure field teams receive the materials they need to keep projects moving.

Requirements

Valid CDL-A license.
Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions.
Clean driving record.
Ability to drive a variety of commercial vehicles, pickup trucks, and trailers.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Strong initiative, reliability, and self-motivation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating forklifts, trailers, and heavy equipment.
Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, welding, or mechanical construction materials.

Responsibilities

Pull and prepare materials for delivery, including pipe, valves, fittings, and other mechanical construction supplies.
Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
Receive, organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory.
Deliver materials and equipment to jobsites throughout Michigan and the Midwest, with occasional travel beyond the region.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
Assist with building and grounds maintenance.
Inspect and maintain company vehicles, trailers, and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
Support warehouse operations and shop needs to help keep projects on schedule.
Work with field personnel, warehouse staff, vendors, and project teams.
