About The Position

Insitu has an immediate need for a Warehouse Coordinator for an onsite contract opportunity. The contract is 12 months, with potential for extension. This role will be responsible for performing varied administrative activities such as data input, record or log keeping, information monitoring and follow-up, operating typical warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, turret truck, stock picker), utilizing hardware and software tools as well as business system applications, managing, synthesizing, and interpreting data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions. The role requires knowledge of enterprise resource systems to include supply databases, shipping receiving, warranties and inventory management tools/processes, customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries, resources including order quantity, resource planning, material type, lead times, and Foreign Object Damage/Debris procedures and equipment; sheet metal processing; air vehicle manufacturing processes; shipping, receiving, packaging and storage; specialized tools; calibration maintenance processes; corrosion prevention; electrostatic discharge; fabrication tools; hand-tools; flight hardware towing, jacking, and marshalling operations; general shop processes. General knowledge of transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.g., Electrostatic Discharge [ESD], hazardous material, OSHA, EHS) is also necessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related experience (shipping and receiving, warehouse, administrative, MRO, etc).
  • Ability to work independently from work instructions.
  • Ability to operate computers and software.
  • Ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform varied administrative activities such as data input, record or log keeping, information monitoring and follow-up.

  • Follow processes related to sheet metal processing, air vehicle manufacturing, shipping, receiving, packaging, and storage.
  • Utilize specialized tools, calibration maintenance processes, corrosion prevention, and electrostatic discharge procedures.
  • Handle fabrication tools and hand-tools.
  • Perform flight hardware towing, jacking, and marshalling operations.
  • Follow general shop processes.
  • Understand and identify potential requirements and impacts related to transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures (e.g., Electrostatic Discharge [ESD], hazardous material, OSHA, EHS).
