About The Position

The Warehouse Manager will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring quality workmanship, keeping commitments to deadlines, delivering solutions, and demonstrating a positive attention to detail in meeting customers’ needs. The Warehouse Manager must be committed to successful leadership through accountability, team building, and knowledge sharing, and they must be dedicated to meeting company financial goals and objectives. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all fabrication, shipping, receiving, maintenance, and administrative activities at the Warehouse level, ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality control programs. This position manages, trains and develops employees, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in the use and maintenance of the tools and equipment necessary for repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
  • Experience working independently to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues with process and plant warehouse equipment, and to develop and rapidly implement corrective actions.
  • Experience training teammates on warehouse operations, quality control procedures and the proper techniques of instrument calibration and maintenance.
  • Work with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor production to resolve issues.
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
  • Attention to detail and positive can-do attitude.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a "results-driven" approach.
  • Leadership - A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.

Responsibilities

  • Attend all scheduled company & safety meetings.
  • Follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices.
  • Coordinate daily work requirements, and delegate those needs to employees.
  • Delegates duties and work assignments in a fair manner.
  • Develop and maintain consistent training standards and recording.
  • Monitor inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor plant/equipment trends, recommend ways to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence.
  • Attend, contribute, and recommend improvements to equipment design, project meetings, and operational practices.
  • Lead various R&D projects for the company.
  • Create and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management in a diverse work environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, leadership, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Other duties as required by company needs.
  • Understand the importance of being visible on the floor.
