About The Position

Lead the Warehouse Operations That Keep Life-Saving Devices Moving At Life Science Outsourcing (LSO), precision matters at every step of the supply chain. As a medical device contract manufacturer operating under FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards, we depend on a warehouse operation that is accurate, compliant, and built to support the pace of regulated manufacturing. The Warehouse Manager is the person who makes that happen. Requirements

  • 7+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in a medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and JIT systems.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Deacom ERP is a plus.
  • Forklift operator certification required; hazardous material handling certificate is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, required.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, GMP, and OSHA standards applicable to medical device manufacturing.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in inventory management and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end warehouse operations across receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping, serving as a critical link between production, procurement, and quality.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent production-disrupting shortages.
  • Lead the design and execution of a robust cycle counting program to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools (Deacom preferred) to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate management-facing reports.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse workflow including receiving, storage, pick-and-pack, and outbound shipping to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to forecast material needs and maintain uninterrupted supply to the floor.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for inventory turnover, fulfillment accuracy, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity; analyze trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with GMP, ISO 13485, OSHA standards, and applicable FDA regulations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions; conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and remediate compliance or safety gaps.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping practices aligned with regulatory requirements and quality systems.
  • Train warehouse staff on GMP, ISO 13485, OSHA standards, SOPs, safety protocols, and operational best practices.
  • Lead by example to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the warehouse team.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between the warehouse and cross-functional departments, facilitating communication and alignment on shared goals.
  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions that enhance compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness across warehouse operations.
  • Apply structured methodologies (Six Sigma, lean principles, or equivalent) to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Leverage data from WMS and ERP platforms to surface insights and support management decision-making.
