About The Position

We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager. This role requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the management of the flow of resources between the point of origin and the point of destination in order to meet contract requirements. You will run a warehouse that stores, sends, and received Information Technology hardware for use by DoD customers. It involves supervising the integration of information flow, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and often security.
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of experience managing warehousing operations within the Department of War and preferably Department of the Navy.
- Expertise and experience using the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Experience with Department of the Navy systems and their associated warehousing needs, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
- Knowledgeable in risk management policies and assessment methodologies.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Management of the flow of resources between the point of origin and the point of destination to meet contract requirements.
- Running a warehouse that stores, sends, and receives Information Technology hardware for use by DoD customers.
- Supervising the integration of information flow, material handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and security.
- Managing cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives.
- Managing and motivating warehouse teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks to warehouse operations.
