About The Position

Ed’s Supply Company is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and support overall branch success. This position is responsible for inventory management, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, warehouse safety, team leadership, and operational efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will oversee warehouse associates and drivers while ensuring customers receive accurate, timely service. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with a willingness to actively participate in warehouse operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3–5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related experience required
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution processes
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on leadership mentality with willingness to support warehouse operations as needed
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 70lbs and work in a warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • OSHA, warehouse safety, or logistics certifications preferred
  • CDL and/or F endorsement a plus but not required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • HVAC, plumbing, construction supply, or wholesale distribution experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and customer pickup activities.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse associates and delivery personnel.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through receiving controls, cycle counts, stock organization, and inventory management best practices.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to support customer service and branch operations.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Monitor warehouse productivity and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety standards, and DOT regulations where applicable.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Partner with branch leadership and sales teams to support customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management activities.
  • Support warehouse and delivery operations during peak business periods as needed.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.
