About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the purchasing of raw materials and finished goods for resale, and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and all shipping/receiving functions. The management of the S&R office staff is also a part of the responsibility. Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years warehouse management experience or 4 years supervisory and 2 years management experience is required.
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have organizational skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to plan a course of action with many variables.
• Must be forward-looking
• Needs to be able to plan orders months in advance using historical data
• Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• A college degree is strongly recommended
• Experience in business management
• Experience in purchasing
• Experience in warehouse management

Responsibilities

• Oversees the scheduling of daily shipments and inbound shipment
• Plans the scheduled day for warehouse activities.
• Maintains warehouse organization.
• Maintains a safe working environment in the warehouse
• Maintains warehouse housekeeping
• Reports any potential issues with on-time delivery
• Performs physical inventories as needed.
• Orders all supplies not related to maintenance as needed.
• Keeps control of raw material inventory levels.
• Records resin adjustments weekly
• Oversees and maintains office functions like accounts payable and scheduling.
• Keeps office running smoothly
• Reports accounting issues as needed
