About The Position

This position is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the shift leads to ensure the most efficient and timely response to all requests from production and other departments of the company. Assist Warehouse Manager on special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret formulas and procedures
  • Regular use of computer, writing, and filing required
  • Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
  • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Warehousing/transportation is preferred but not required.
  • Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Work with employees on a daily basis to solve problems and create opportunities for success including documenting SOP’s and/or Best Practices.
  • Monitor/Review/Coach implementation of daily productivity improvements to ensure corporate goals are met. Conduct training of distribution clerks as well as inventory control proceedures and ensure policies are being followed.
  • Responsible ofr the efficient receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies, products and raw materials.
  • Assist in set up and control of FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials to the various departments of the company as requested.
  • Recommends personnel actions, such as hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary measures to department head. Staying up to date on employe 30-60-90 and annual reviews.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the manager.
  • Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
