The Warehouse Manager, under the supervision of the Division Vice-President, provides the day-to-day oversight of the division’s warehouse operations. This role involves administering and operating the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. The manager will oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures. A key aspect of the role is accounting for all materials and supplies, auditing goods received, and preparing schedules for shipping and receiving to manage the flow of goods and warehouse space effectively. The position also ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and the maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Furthermore, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring they meet operational excellence standards, including 100% customer satisfaction and compliance with safety standards. This includes ensuring employees attend required training and continually seeking improvements in results and effectiveness. The role involves providing regular performance updates and recommendations to senior management, ongoing supervision, training, coaching, and feedback to improve performance and meet objectives. Leadership is provided through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Issues of concern related to performance are addressed with constructive feedback and consequences if necessary. The manager must follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. Other duties may be assigned, and duties may vary by location.
