About The Position

Johnson Brothers Maverick is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead night warehouse operations in San Antonio. The role oversees supervisors, leads, clerks, and warehouse associates to ensure orders are picked and loaded accurately, efficiently, and safely, and are prepared for on-time delivery. The manager drives performance and accountability, maintains safety and quality standards, and fosters a positive team environment focused on operational success.

The position is on the night shift, Sunday through Thursday. The manager coordinates nightly warehouse work, staffing, and workflow; partners with day-shift leadership and other departments; and identifies improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors. The role requires flexibility to work overnight hours and additional shifts as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of OSHA and DOT safety requirements.
• Flexibility to work overnight hours and additional shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the night-shift warehouse team to achieve productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
• Oversee nightly order selection, truck loading, and delivery preparation to ensure on-time, complete shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members by setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
• Monitor key performance indicators and partner with day-shift leadership to support smooth shift transitions and consistent performance.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workflow to meet nightly operational demands.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Partner with Delivery and Inventory Control to align operations and resolve issues quickly.
