About The Position

PrimeSource Building Products Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, pick, load, and distribute building product materials inside and outside the Distribution Center. The role involves operating propane- or electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices, such as forklifts, order pickers, or reach trucks, to lift, stack, tier, and move products and materials. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with pay and benefits available within 30 days.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and a team-oriented approach.

• Schedule flexibility and willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Ability to move approximately 560 units daily, with an average weight of 30 pounds, at a rate of 70 times per hour.
• Ability to repeatedly handle items weighing up to 50 pounds, reaching and lowering items to and from the ground or shoulder height, and performing left-to-right and right-to-left movements at least 70 times per hour.
• Fall protection device weight limitation of 310 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED, or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating forklift or cherry picker equipment.
• Experience with distribution center equipment.
• High school diploma or GED is listed as preferred in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials between receiving, storage, and production areas using a forklift or other lifting device.
• Sort and place products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Pull customer orders from stock, place them on pallets, and transport them to packing, shipping, or trucks.
• Track customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to meet daily goals.
• Verify the accuracy and quality of products received and loaded for delivery, and maintain records.
• Participate in annual physical inventory and product counts, ensuring accurate labels or tags.
• Perform varied warehouse tasks according to prioritized business needs.
